Created a UX interface and an interactive 3D model for an instructional AR experience
ABOUT
PROJECT
This is an AR experience that lets you experience a 3D model of Ethiopia that is placed on a surface Infront of you. On the map is 5 highlighted resources centers apart of e-She. The user is then given an avatar that can be controlled by an on screen joystick. By moving the avatar to different sections of the map you can learn more about the resource centers.
THE PROJECT
EXPLORATION
I wanted to represent the 5 highlighted resources centers apart of e-She, so I decided to find college gates located in Ethiopia, that were a part of each resource center.

Once, I found a gate to represent each resource center, I converted each image into a vector and began creative exploration looking at possible color combinations.
UI DESIGN
3D MODELING
Using Spline, a 3D design software, I created an interactive 3D model of Ethiopia
I created a separate object for each of the 5 sections. Try it out! Center the model, and then click in. Use WASD to move around
ADDITIONAL DESIGN
Once the model was ready and the cards for the resource centers were made, I was tasked with creating instruction cards
